Can you tell us a bit about your work in THIS IS issue 1? I wanted to share my experience of living in an area with a 50/50 British/South Korean population. There are so many different cultural environments, even within one city, and I thought people might be interested in reading about the cultural environment of an area of London they might not have heard of before.

What kind of things do you try to address in the work you make? I don't usually publish online works, but as a hobby I create music. I like to write songs about personal feelings, relationships and experiences, the lessons I learnt, and sometimes philosophical ideas, basically out-letting my thoughts. I'm also interested in the characteristics of different genres, so one song might sound like a club song, while another will be smooth R&B.

Who is one of your least favourite artists/authors or piece of work? Nobody comes to mind for this question, but one of my favourites would be Marcus Aurelius for his book Meditations.

Which artwork/piece of writing inspires the work that you like to make? I study Anthropology BA so I enjoy reading lots of articles and books on 'culture' for my course. For this zine I just wanted to create a basic outline of what it is like to live in the demographic of my hometown.

Your go-to Karaoke song? Watcha Say, Jason Derulo.

Is courgette a fruit or a vegetable? I'd say biologically a courgette is a fruit because it has seeds in it, but it's often eaten how you might expect a vegetable to be eaten.
